Goodbye To You.... YAY!

Some farewells are fonder than others. This one was definitely a happy goodbye. This car was my first car I owned and it lasted 8 years without needing any replacements other than some lights and a fix it job on the handle (by Eddie).
While we were in Ohio Eddie mostly drove it to school and I drove our other car. Since we have been back in Utah we decided I could drive it for a while. I didn't miss it to say the least. Eddie broke the air conditioner so it only blew out on defrost and Carson and I died in the heat (until Eddie felt bad and switched us cars back). There were only a few things wrong such as, the air conditioning control, the driver handle, the bumper, the hood, the check engine light, and the ignition would not turn very easy, but other than that it was great!
My favorite memory was in the winter when the car would get too cold the door wouldn't close. One cold day in Columbus, Eddie had to drive to school holding the door shut and driving with one hand down the freeway... Good times. Anyway I am happy to see the Geo leave us while it is still running and we could trade it in for This...

Our truck is actually blue and has a lift on it. Yes, this is going to be Eddie's truck. He deserves it after spending so many years in the ghetto car. We went to Preston, ID to go golfing on our anniversary and saw it in a lot there. We didn't know we were getting a vehicle so soon, but we test drove it and liked the feel. I hope it will last us as long as old reliable.
