Recycle Life...Donate!!

My wonderful Aunt Sonya was the recipient of a kidney a few years ago from my Mother. It makes you really appreciate what organ donation means when it effects your loved ones. To support donation we decided to run a 5K on August 8th. All the proceeds were donation to organ and tissue transplant reasearch. Eddie ran with Carson and I ran alone. We were also joined by my Aunts, cousins, uncle and Mom. It was a really fun event and I am glad that my Aunt Sonya put it all together. I won third in my age division (I recieved a white ribbon, boo!). My time was not that great though, I guess the real runners didn't show up. All in all I really enjoyed myself and I think we will participate again next year.
