Carson started swimming lessons this year. My little fish hated them in the begining and I even contemplated taking him out. I went to pick him up the first two times and he was crying so hard he was hickuping. The first thing he would say to me is, "Mom, I did not have fun."
His teacher told me to keep bringing him and eventually he began to love it. He took twice this year the first time he didn't like it at first, but the second time he loved it!!
We have some really funny footage of him during parents day (the last day of lessons is the only day parents are allowed to stay and watch). He reminded us a lot of his uncle Andy when he took lessons at Carson's age (I hope this is not a sign of what is to come).
At the end of lessons he could jump of the diving board, hold his head under water, float on his back and a lot of other things. We are thrilled that he is a little more comfortable in the water. Now we don't have to worry about him as much when we take him swimming.
