Labor Day

This year for Labor Day we headed towards Bear Lake to take on a little hike. We packed up lunch and invited my parents along. The trail was one that we used to hike on the way to YW camp. It is scenic, short and perfect for an easy stroll.


My Dad did great on the hike. He is still recovering from his surgery, but he had no problem getting back into the mountain air.

Carson got a little tired, so we put him in Eddie's backpack. It is not supposed to have children inside, but he fit just fine. At the first of the hike Carson was running and we had to keep telling him to come back. By the end we were all taking turns carrying him.


After the hike we headed to Bear Lake and had raspberry shakes. The Rich family was there staying at their cabin so we were able to see them as well. It was a great way to spend a day!
